  • Artists must pre-register no later than 3pm on the Friday prior to the upcoming Art Walk – no exceptions. Registrations submitted after the deadline will be applied to the next available Art Walk.
  • If you do not have a Business Tax Receipt number, please be prepared to fill out the temporary application and pay an additional $10.00 fee Per Event – non-negotiable.
  • All registered art vendors must check in at the official RDA registration table located at Jackson and First Street starting at 4:30 p.m. They will be given an assigned number badge and must have this visibly displayed during the event, since this will identify you as an official Art Walk vendor. The badges must be turned in at the end of the event and failure to do so may prevent registration for future events.
  • The artist is responsible for the transportation of themselves and artwork, display set-up (including tent and/or table), display breakdown, before, during and after all Art Walks. Set up cannot begin until 4:30pm day of and breakdown must be completed by 10:30pm. Event time is from 6pm to 10pm.
  • Once you have checked in, please unload as quickly as possible. No cars will be admitted into the barricaded area after 5:30 p.m. Art Walk begins at 6 p.m. Please be fully set up and operational by start time.
  • For the safety of patrons and other artists, vendors will not be allowed to drive into the event for load-out until 10pm. Vendors who do not follow this rule will be barred from participating in future shows. In the event of rain, please be prepared with tarps, plastic covers or other protective material to keep your art work safe. If you wish to leave early, you will have to walk or cart your equipment outside of the event barricades – No Exceptions. Failure to adhere may result in a ticket from law enforcement.

  • Artist agrees to set up in designated assigned location in the event footprint. Vendor locations are on a first come, first serve basis with registration and therefore may not be the same from month to month.
  • Refunds or transfers will be given in the event of inclement weather severe enough to cause Art Walk to be canceled. If RDA staff determine the show can go on, no refunds will be given.
  • In an effort to make this event more uniform, Artist are able to use an RDA table cover for their front table display and return after break down. Artists understands that failure to return table cover after the event will prevent them from receiving a future event space.
  • Artist agrees to remove all trash generated at vendor space.
  • If artist chooses to demo live during Art Walk, no hot, sharp or otherwise hazardous machinery may be used and no substances are to be put on the street. All paint and spray paint must be used with a drop-cloth. Artist will be held liable for city cleanup fees.
  • The artist is held responsible for any damage caused to the spaces(s) in which they are designated – i.e., damage to the grassy or paved area(s), lobby area(s), etc.
  • The River District Alliance is not responsible for any damages to items brought to Art Walk by the Artist. Please ensure you have proper coverage for your items in the event of rain.
