  • Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel
    The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau is devoted to maintaining and building year-round tourism in Lee County. To achieve this goal, the VCB works closely with the local industry to increase domestic and international visitation through integrated programs targeting key markets. Local tourism businesses are encouraged to actively participate in all of the programs and grass roots outreach efforts, such as marketing meetings, media initiatives and trade/consumer shows.

  • Butterfly Estates
    The Shops at the Butterfly Estates opened in 2009, it was a four year "green friendly" renovation of our shops, cafe and installation of our over 3600 sq,. foot glass butterfly conservatory. This small facility is Home of The Florida Native Butterfly Society (501c3) located in Gardner's Park in the Downtown Fort Myers River District.

  • Edison & Ford Winter Estates
    Visitors to the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers will enjoy 20 acres of historical buildings, historic gardens, the Edison Botanic Research Lab and the Edison Ford Museum. The newly restored buildings include the Edison Main House, Guest House, and Caretaker’s House and the Ford House. The 1929 historic landscape is throughout the property including the award winning Moonlight Garden. The Edison Ford Museum has hundreds of inventions, artifacts and special exhibits.

    Friends of the Fort Myers Library is a non-profit whose purpose is to promote, support and enhance library services for the Fort Myers Regional Library. We raise funds to upgrade equipment and purchase materials to supplement the regular library budget. We also sponsor a variety of special events at the library for both children and adults including theatrical performances, cooking demonstrations, music, guest authors, craft programs, magic shows, history programs and other events. The Friends make it possible for these services to be offered FREE to our community.
